Great progress made on the RG250 after work today. Next is to pull out the bearings and give these parts a thorough clean and inspection. Its always interesting pulling a bike a part as it often tells a story...
This bike had clearly been stripped down before with a number of the original nuts and bolts replaced with stuff out of a local hardware store or pillaged from some other poor machine. It made the tear down feel like a circus act juggling different sized sockets, spanners and screw drivers for nuts, bolts and screws that were inconsistent everywhere except the threads.
